Subroom Records closes in on SUB007 with a record that started as a mistake nobody wanted to fix.

Late in a winter studio session, 2SHER and MAJLOS were chasing a bassline with no plan and no project name, when the sequence started sounding a little too familiar. They had wandered straight into the “Poker Face” riff by accident. Instead of undoing it, they built around it: a rolling, swung tech house groove anchored by that raw analog low end, with X-MEEN brought in to sharpen the drop. The result drags a 2007 pop monster into a dark club at 2am, all hands-in-the-air tension and peak-time release. A familiar hook you will place in three seconds, welded to a groove built for the back half of the night.
